Harry McLean, .twin brothers,
Were visitors with Ken Patterson.
Both are ,retired .pensioned. rail-
road conductors. Harry MoLean
was a ' conduetor with the CPR
and resides in Teeswater, ' while,`
` brother; Harold resides in Toronto
and. was . conductor with, the ,CNR.
Their sister Wilda > is married to
James ;Nixon;' and .resides in : the
seuth. The .late . Arthur McLean
-who 'resided :on 2nd con. Kinloss
on ,the .`fare now owned by John.
De • Boer, was a brother.

on Saturday after a two week

ily in England. They, had made
the trip upon hearing of the sud-
den death • of his father James
Norton: Mr... Morton, who was 79
Years ' of ''age, was / sick 'just. two -
weeks and': passed' away -suddenly
on , May 15th: The funeral •service
was held on :Wednesday, May .19:
Albert. has '; one. sister. and Mrs;
Morton has . one, sister ;' and 'four
brothers, all residing in the area
around Manchester, Lancishire
England.

time to serve God as We ought.

Seventeen . of the youngest. chil
dren carried bouquets 'oo • lilac,
lily of, :the valley and ; pansies;to
the front and handed them to
Margaret Pattison a n d Doris.
Coultes ' who placed them on the
tables. ` When they, had completed
this, the choir of 30 .children and
teenagers, each wearing a corsage
of lily of the, valley and . pansies,
took ' their place: ; They sang : the
anthem "Serve the Lord in Youth
and Be ' ye :: Strong."

St. Peter's Ladies Guild on May

for Ascension Day • Services.

ing ' with the Member's Prayer
and the Lord's PraYer. - .Mrs. T.
Prichard gave the secretary -trea-
surer's report. The, roll was an-
swered . by 9 memberswith a
verse from the Bible.,.hank you
notes were acknowledged: Busi-
ness followed, Committeeswere
set . up for next. meeting: Mrs.
E. Gaunt read the' scriptureand
the Collect for Ascension Day.: and:
Mr. J. King closed the meeting
with Prayer..
