BEACH DEVELOPMENT OVER • PAST 15 YEARS AT MID HURON The Sentinel carried a ` brief' story, of the ':development of Mid Huron beach in• : last week's is- sue. Sunday evening the 16th of May or Mon- day the 17th of ' May. A number of cottagers were up at the beach: that •weekend, and when they Leff; for ' home, everything was OK. However, one man forgot his wal- let and returner Monday evening to pick it up and, found the break- ins. The wallet was' still there.. A flashlight,, screwdriver and several • blankets was all that was missing and it all came from .ozic cottage. Almost all the cottages in that area had 'heed broken into and 'the entry was gainedby for- cing doors or windows. One set of footprints left a trail of clay through, each of the cot- tage s.
