completed exams at LD:H.S..The
Easter exams ..• began on Friday,.
April 2, . and were, completed last
Friday . afternoon. The . faces of.
most of the students showed a
sigh' of relief last • 'Friday night
after they had written : seven : or
eight exams . ` varying in . length
from one and a half to three
hours.
These exams, covered all the
work from last September up un-
til the time ; of the exams with the
greatest stress being from Chris-,
tmas on. June: exams are ex-
pected to commence somewhere a-
round : June $th as school ends
about the middle of the month.
This week for some . will be
joyful, for others , it will prove
to be a struggle, and for others

vey. Robb, Elaine and Donald at

Moncrief.
After a short program of read-
ings, musical numbers and coin-/
munity singing, -Mrs. 'Glen Camp
bell read an address. They were
presented with a lamp, jewellery
and 'Bibles from their friends' in
the district."Mrs. Robb and Elaine
expressed their appreciation, for
the lovely' gifts and pleasant even-
ing. •
