The April • meeting of Blakes.
U.C.W. was held Tuesday , after-
noon . at the home of .Mrs. Wm,
Irvin. The, president 'Mrs,; Living-
ston Menary, opened the meeting
which was in the form of an Eas-
ter. program with the call to wor-
ship. and • a hymn. The scripture
lesson was taken 'by Mrs,,' Mark
Berger followed by meditation
and prayer. Mr. Kaiser took the
'fifth, chapter of . "God and His
Purpose." • Mrs. .Howard . Blake
gave ati Easter reading. and the
•next chapter' in the study book
was taken by Mrs..' Keith Crans-
ton,

reading "Land of Beginning
Again": The roll call was answer-
ed by •a quotation of -a woman in
the Bible. with 13 ,adults and one
