The L.D.H.S.'s .' boys' team left for Walkerton in • the afternoon as was . . planned previously; .but when the Walkerton girl's teams came into our ' school shortly af- terwards . (when 'the . , game , was scheduled for Thursday) the sur- prise ended in panic ! There was no referee! Several ,of .our ' best players were.' absent , from school, and our coach .had just; left for Walkerton! Nevertheless.. ' we we re good sports and our girls showed tbht they . could': play under the 'rough est of conditions.. However, we: hope that this ' won't_ happen, too often.
