been cause for concern. He re-
-sided on the east side of the road,
just South of South Kinloss Church.
He was the son of the late Chris-'

and was born at Stratbroy on Mays
14, 1916:
In ' January, 1939,. he . married
Alice,' Marriott at Thedforcl Who
survives him along 'with daughters,
Mrs. James' (Eleanor) Gibson of
Kinloss, Dorothy athome and sons
Leonard of Palmerston, Henry of
Kinloss, James at ' home, also .4
grandchildren.
Surviving also are a :: sister Mrs.
Ken (June) ; Webster ' of ' London,
brothers Edward . and Herbert of
Fern Glenn, Jack of London, .Clar-
ence of Angus.' He was " prede
ceased by his mother in 1937, his
father earlier this yearand, a
brother Leonard• .of '•Huntsville in
1956.
The . funeral service was con-
ducted on Thursday,::December

emorial Chapel in Lucknow.

On December 11.th. the Lucknow:
Guide Cornwany planned to go out
Carol singing. ; But due to rainy
weather the -girls stayed ' indoors
to sing. That night the guides ans-
wered roll call by o presenting a
gift for , a child at . the.. Sunbeam
Home in Waterloo. Hot.: chocolate
and donuts•were prepared and ser-
ved by Mrs. M. Corrin and Mrs.
S. Collyer.
The December 18th meeting took,
the form "of a pot luck, supper.
A delicious dinner was enjoyed by
candlelight while Christmas mus-
ic was: played on the record play-
er. After the tables were cleared
everyone had '' fun ; attempting :. to

square dance. Gifts were exchang-
ed, and ` "taps" closed the ; meet-
