Colin Crozier joins R.C.A.F.
At the May meeting of the : Wing
ham ` public school board, Colin.
Crozier, principal, was granted leave
of absence for the duration of the
war:- Mr'. Crozier has applied 'for
enlistment into the Royal Canadian
Force and expects` to be called
within the next six weeks. Al-
though ' Mr: Crozier has , held the
position of principal' for just •one
term, -he will be greatly missed. His
promotional ideas were greatly ap-
preciated'at the school and he took
a 'keen interest in athletics; -espec-
ially the school hockey. teams.
Mr: Crozier, who went to Wing -
ham from 'Parkhill, is a native of
Crewe where his parents, Mr.
and Mrs. Wm. Crozier; reside. He'
succeeded. Gordon Kidd, who last
.summer accepted a position at 'Is-
lington public school.
