A pretty house wedding was
solemnized at the home of the
bride's parents oil Saturday after-
noon, November 4th, when Freda
Madelyn, youngest daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. -Fred DeGroat, ViE-
toria street, London, became the
bride of Russell Fulton Button,
son of Mr. and 11/Irs. R. J. But-
ton of Lucknow. Rev. John Fleck
officiated.

only ornament was a heart shap-
ed gold locket; a gift fif the
groom. The bride's only attend-
ant was Miss Jean Kelly who
wore a bouffant dress of gold.

W. A. Porteous was in Walker-
ton Last week serving on the jury
at the trial of Claude Smith,
highway contractor, who was up
on a serious charge. Sentence was
deferred until yesterday. Philip
Stewart was called but did not
serve on the jury.
Boyd acted as ushers.
Mrs. John Carruthers of Bramp-
ton, sister -in -.law of the groom,
was organist and during the sign-
ing of. the register, Mrs. Jean
Canipbell of Kincardine sang '0

the church and to the home.
