The home of Mr. arid Mrs. Rod-
erick Ross, R. • 3, Lucknow, was
the scene of a pretty wedding on
Saturday, October 21st, when
their youngest daughter, Margar-
et _Irene, *as united in marriage
to William James Nelson, only
son of Mr, and. Mrs.. Robert Nel-
son of Ashfield. The ceremony
was performed by Rev. Dr. W. O.
Rhoad •of Ashfield Presbyterian
Church.
The bride entered the living,
room to the strains of the Bridal
chorus from Lohengrin played by
her cousin, Donald Ross of Gait'
and took her, place beneath an
arch of cedar and .white baby
rimes, Baskets 'and vases of fall
flowers made an attractive set-
ting. Given in .. marriage by .her
father, the bride';looked lovely in
a floor Iength "dress °V' white
triple sheer over satin with lace •
trim_ Her shoulder length . 'veil
was heldin place with' a coronet
of orange blosso=ms. She ' carried
a bouquet of Talisman roses and„
fern: Her bridesmaid, Miss 'Jean

chose a floor length gown of char-
truese net . over satin with floral

Ross, brother of the bride, was
groomsman. During the I signing
of the . register Mrs. Wm. ' Ross,
sister-in-law of the bride, sang.
"Oh Perfect Love".
At the' reception which follow-
ed the bride's mother wore sold-
ier ' blue crepe and wore . a cor-
sage of Talisman roses. The
groom's mother chose plum crepe
and a corsage of baby mums and
fern. The dining room was pret-
tily decorated with pink and
white streamers and the bridal
table placed in the centre of the
roorn, was centred with a three-
storey wedding cake and pink
and: white tapers in crystal.
