Ashby and Mrs. Ashby, to Mr. John Percival ?rest, New Toronto, took place in the Church Of St. John the Evangelist, Strathroy, with the bride's father officiating at the double - ring ceremony. . • A long graceful princess gown of• ivory satin with lace inserts Was worn by the bride, her long veil held with a feather, cap. Her flowers were a shower of 'White roses and white baby chrysanthe- mums. Mrs. S. Bertram Ashby, her matron ,of honor, chose white silk net over taffeta, with narrow velvet ribbon trimming, and the bridesmaid, Miss Katherine Prest was in white taffeta with trim- ming of ruffles. Both carried pink roses and white baby chrysanthe- mums. Mr. Stanley Prest was groomsmanfor his brother, and the ushers were Mr. A. E. Will, London, and Mr. L. T. H. Stanley, Port Huron, Michigan.
