The marriage of Miss Mary
Helen Ashby, daughter of Rev.
H. B. Ashby and Mrs. Ashby, to
Mr. John Percival ?rest, New
Toronto, took place in the Church
Of St. John the Evangelist,
Strathroy, with the bride's father
officiating at the double - ring
ceremony. . •
A long graceful princess gown
of• ivory satin with lace inserts
Was worn by the bride, her long
veil held with a feather, cap. Her
flowers were a shower of 'White
roses and white baby chrysanthe-
mums. Mrs. S. Bertram Ashby,
her matron ,of honor, chose white
silk net over taffeta, with narrow
velvet ribbon trimming, and the
bridesmaid, Miss Katherine Prest
was in white taffeta with trim-
ming of ruffles. Both carried pink
roses and white baby chrysanthe-
mums. Mr. Stanley Prest was
groomsmanfor his brother, and
the ushers were Mr. A. E. Will,
London, and Mr. L. T. H. Stanley,
Port Huron, Michigan.
After a reception in the rectory
the couple left for New York and
will live in Toronto cin their re-
turn.
