the farm now owned by his bro-
ther, Robert, and as a young man
went to Texas: He is survived .by
his widow and a' son :Homer.

a breakdown in health made a

Lucknow in •1912: He was the
first man in this district to .en-
gage in the business .of. shipping

Mr. Robertson was chairman

was made. an honorary' member

it served a large trade.
Mrs. Robertson, formerly Mary
McAllister of Clinton, . predeceees-
ed her husband in September sof
•1930. Surviving are one son
Stuart,. of Lucknow; and: a• dau-
:ghter Bertha, Mrs. Neil G. Mac
Kenzie of Ashfield; two grand-
.daughters and two great -.grand=

The funeral service was held
at his late residence,, conducted
•by Rev. C.' H. MacDonald. Inter-
ment was in Greenhill Cemetery,
the pallbearers, being Charles
Baird, James Pickering, Wm:
Murdie, Wm. McGill, W. W. Hill
and'`. Marshal Graham. ••
