t War ivith tie
and at Peace•with M
Now I feel DIGHT -
I bought 'a Bond.
- A bigger Bond than I intended to buy
And stretched myself a bit
To buy it.
Inteatt of "douible-trouble" dollars
Burning. a 'holein my pocket
Or lazing in 'a bank aeeouint
Just asking. to {l e. spent
I bought a "triple-aeifOn
My contribution
to the fight overseas,. for freedom
to the fight- at home, agi inst inflation
-r-to my own pos&war security.
It seems to me .
That if n fellow can't put on a uniform
He shouldn't. put off buying a iVletory Bond
NOT
if he wants to be' at War with the Axis
And at Peace with Himself.
