Magic's Orange -Raisin Biscuits
2 cups sifted flour 4 tbspas shortening'
ii cup raisins
1 tbspn. orange'rind.
1 egg
34 cup milk
'4 teaspoons Magic
Baking Powder
,tspn. salt
". 2 tbspns. sugar
Sift dry ingredients together. Cut in
shortening until welt mixed. Add rai-
sins and orange rind. Beat egg slightly
in;measuring cup and add milk to make 4.
f cup Add to first'mixture. Roll out
about %_inch thick; cut with figured:.
biscuit cutter.',Place on greased .pan..
Bake in hot oven (47.5°K) about ;12'
minutes. Makes 16.

Following an illness of four
years, Wesley Pollock died at
Kincardine General Hospital .in
his 67th year. He was a son of
the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert
