their son, .Flt. -Lt. Donald Mac-
Kay, • D.F.C., is a prisoner of war
in Germany. On February 2Oth
they received word he was miss-
ing. It: was an anxious time for
the MacKay familyand his
friends as -Donald was. a, general
• favorite.: with all who knew: him.

week we neglected to report a
splendid quilting at Mrs. Perry
Hodgin's home. Two quilts were
finished and some business at-
tended to, after which Mrs. Hod-
gins treated the quilters to- a ver-
itable banquet.
