be done in Bruce in order that it
• may take its rightful Place. as 'one
of the leading counties in Canada.
A five -point program, for...Can-
ada was stressed: (1) "Our great-
est need today is the revitalizing
. �f our Christian. life". (2) •"We
Must develop a -really strong nat-
.- •• ionar spirit". (3) "If. you have
prosperous agriculture, Canada is
. •prosperous". In developing this
• point Mr.. KelleY stated that "a
better job must be done in agri-
• culture as farrnera are losing at
he rate of one million dollars' a
day through raising poor .itoek,
• poor farm implements: weeds,
corn borer and inefficiency". He
• complimented the Federation :of
° 'Agriculture for .their fine work
" and advocated "planning, operat-
ing and marketing on a c� -oper-
ative basis".
