sels and patrol craft, which num-
bered 7 in 1939, now stand at
more than 450. When the war
broke out, we 'had about 1.800
men on active service in the Can- •
adian Navy compared with 80,000'
at the present time. During the
past .year the personnel of the
Wrens-has'gzown'from about one
thousand to' 4,500 at the present
time. They are serving at 32 dif-
ferent points in Canada, as well
as in the United States and New-
foundland. The Minister will re-
ceive 410 million dollars to en-
able Canada's Navy to continue
to wage war -,on the seven Seas,
