riage resided for many years,. 'in
Lucknow" where her husband was
a carriage maker and owned- and
conducted a large plant „in the
Sepoy Village at the opening of
the present. century. Mrs. Hil•
red's husband • predeceased her
about ten years: ago.'She leaves a
family of three daughters and
two sons, 'Warren and Willis Hil-
died of the Canadian West. An-
other son, John Hildred, was on
the - staff of the T.. Eaton Dept:
Store, Winnipeg, and from which
city he enlisted with- a Western
regiment and was: killed at the
Battle of Ypres in World War 1.
She als$ leaves three daughters,
Miss .-.dna .Hildred, -,teacher of
Runieymede Collegiate, Toronto,
and 1`Vfiss Josie Hildred, teacher
at Woodstock Public School, and
a daughter Anne; a registered.
nurse residing • in iUnited States.
Deceased was a devout ;Christ-
ian and took an active interest
in all branches of church work.
She was also a staunch' Teinper-
ance Advocate and was a prom-
inent .member of the W.C.T.U. of,
Woodstock:
