Kedinie, a sister of Mr. —wny
Hornell of town, occurred at her
, dome in Mitnieo on ThursdnY,
February 3rd. Mrs. McKechnie,
who was. 78 years of age, .was
'formerly Henrietta Hornell.
She • wil1 be remernbeted by
older residents as a very able
musician and ,for ' many yeane,
while a resident of Mt. Forest;
was organist and choir leader in
the Anglican church in that town.

PLAY THURSDAY PROVED
HIGHLY ENTERTAINING
,The three •- act comedy,. , "A
Ready Made• Family",' presented
by Mildmay talent in the Town
Hall last Thursday : evening,
proved that it was all .the 'ad-
vancecl billing claimed it to be.
The story revolved around Mrs:
Agnes Martin, a charming wid-
ow and Henry Turner, a widow-
er. These parts were very well
taken by Rev. and Mrs. F. P.
Erb who hadka strong supporting
cast including Mrs. Stanley Gra-
ham; Mabel' Marshall,- Bob Cron-
in, Florence Schefter, " Annette
Dosman, Jack Kaufman, Mrs.,
George Culbert and George. Cul-
bert.

The play' was • packed . .with
laughs throughout ' and . was en-
joyed by a large .audience: Be-
tween acts Miss Dorothy Sharp
favored with piano instrumen-
tals. A dance followed with
music by Carruthers orchestra,
and both events proved profit-
able for the sponsor, • the Luck -
now Agricultural • Society.'
