ized at Kincardine United church
parsonage on Saturday, ,,Novem-
ber 13th, when Eliza Hall was
united in marriage to Albert
Little.
The bride was . attired in a
street length dress of kings blue
with matching accessories, and
wore a corsage of pink roses. The
couple were unattended.

the immediate relatives at the
home of the brides daughter,

forest trees to public and separate
school children of . Bruce County.
saw the grand total of 85,000 trees
planted. This work was furthered
this year by prizes amounting to_,_
$25:00 donated by. Russel T. Kel-
ley,for the largest percentage of
thesetrees-.living this fall. Mr.
Kelley of ;.the Hamilton Board of
Trade is a native of Bruce coun-
ty, ..having . beenborn in Tees -
water. Mr. Kelley is interested in
Bruce .County as well as the very
important subject, ofreforesta-
tion' and conservation, and his
prizes put stress on the proper
planting and .care of trees.

The road commission of Huron
County Council in its report last
week, 'outlined an eight-year .re-.
construction program, involving
an expenditure . of $4,436,000.
Much of this work hasbeen in-
cluded in a 15 -year program map-
ped - out before the war, which
brought' it to a" halt.
"Itis thought :that pest -war
conditions will warrant an ac-
celerated. pace of construction :so
it may be .that such a :program
should be, :Completed in. about 8
.years; together° with the recon-
struction of old steel bridges",
the report states.
Reeve Alex MacDonald of Ash-
field was one of threemembers,
of. the Council, who stated their
intentions of refining.
County Engineer Patterson,: re-
porting on Highway work, stated
that about 13,000. cubic :yards of
dill at a cost of about $12,000 had
been required before subsidence
ceased at the sink hole in West

By a vote of 21 to 7., Huron
Council voted against an open
season for deer in the County,
rejecting a; motion that an open,
season be declared for two days'

Club in Florida is preparing for
another successful winter season,
with the steady influx of many
of the Club's top ranking bowl-
ers, with Alex Crawford of Wing -
ham ranking first on the list. ,
Wellington McCoy .has receiv-
ed an'. article out of a. St. Peters-
burg paper, and written by the
president of the bowling' club,
which read in part:
"Throughout the years that -I
have been `a member, Alex Craw-
ford has been the outstanding
bowler of the club. I have said
this before, and ,.probably will
again. His record :last year was
the most remarkable ever made
by any player in competition in
the club.
"Crawford entered seven
events last year and won three
singles, the open, the Mercer and
the Godman medal. He skipped
