Hello Everyone:.'
It 'was parcel . day recently .and
it served as a rerninder that I was
intending to write you a letter.'
The parcel was in , Very good
shape except the label was, a bit
blurred. However I gathered this
was one sent from the Institute
for whrcil I thank;you very much";
.Parcels and letters are coming
through xegularly, the last while
so. I've no. complaintson -t`het
score. News never seemsplenti-
ful. I managed a ,couple of days:
leave in London last week. It
never • takes 'long to pass time
down there (nor hickey either of
course). I generally meet quite
a few of • the fellows I've' met in
'rnrnr►t+a,._nTrJ!rafi:]..111
I've never seen any of the other
fellows from around home. but
I'm always hoping. I'd like to get
to Scotland next month so hope.
all the' bad weather will be over
by then. When I was in Edin-
burgh before the weather was.
verypoor. f'd like to see -it when
the 'sin is 'shining,, The, news
seems, much brighter . the last
couple of days. They tell us now
we've advanced from the end of
the' beginning, to the beginning
of the end, whatever: that iiiay
mean. Our Canadian' army must
'be getting tired of all this sit-
ting around as it were and . some.:
body else ' doing the ' interesting
•things.' However their time .may
soon, come. • • • •
Hope that 'everybody is keep-
ing; well and with best wishes
to you ' all, ,
Keith.
