The Bible :study . 'was given by
Miss Marion McDougall and Miss.
Greta Campbell gave a report ,on
the, Presbyterial. Mrs._ P. Stew -art
sang .,a solo after which the eur-
rent events from, the Glad Tidings
were reviewed. It'•,was decided
• to pack a box.of Bibles and Chris-
' tian literature for Miss ' D: Doug-
las of British Guiana..After sing-
/ ing hymn 586 Miss J. Lyons dos-

Hackett's W. M. S.
The ,May meeting "of. Hackett's
W.M.S:.was held at' the 'home of
Mrs:. John Mullin on Tuesday af-
ternoon, May 25th.. While the lad-
ies' quilted a :missionary quilt the
president, Mrs. C. Campbell,, pre-
sided over ` the meeting : which
opened 'with the National Anthem
'followed by the Lord's prayer.
Min. Roy Alton read the 91st
7 • psalm miter which Mrs. Albert
Alton led in prayer: The minutes
of the' previous meeting ' were
read by Mrs. Spence Irwin, The
• ' 'president read a leaflet.from' the
Friendship Society and the theme
for May. "Canada's 'Youth". 'Mrs..

horseshoe formation outside. Mrs.
Calvert inspected the patrols
while they were in horseshoe for-
mation. •

Wartime : Emergency, test ::,Since
they will have; to cook a meal for.
five persons, all the Guides Lare
going. The girls will, try signall-'
ing and will take a ' message on
the way, home
Second class Guides practised

badge.. Meanwhile other Guides

When the girls resui'ned horse-
