Pherson 'occurred at her home •in
Lueknow on Friday, August 27th.
She ,was in her' 89th, year :and
had been "in failing health for a
few weeks, although' less Than
two months before had success
fully thrown . off an, ;attack of

Miss MacPherson was bora at
St..Helens on October .15th, 1859
on the farm . now occupied by her
nephew,Mfr. Gordon MacPher-
son: She . was one of five children
born to the late .Duncan Mac'
Pherson and Isabel Ross and was
