sad'dened;: and shocked •on Mon
day of. last week to hear of the
sudden death of a highly esteem-
ed resident in • the person of John
L, McDowell, Who passed away
at Beligi:;ave on Monday, January
9th at the ihoine ''of, his sinter,
Mrs.' Josie Cameron, • in his 67th
year. His' sudden..., passing was
caused. Eby a 'heart•attaek. The late
•Mr.. McDowell.: was born 'in East
Wa ranosh, , the • third son ;of 'the
late John McDgrbvelll, .land, Alin.
Sane McClinton• and lived 'all':his
life in the township, He .was iriar-
ried, .in February, ;,1912, •to • •Miss.
ElizabethSnell, of , the .3rd • con-
cession of Eat Wawanosh, Who
with, three daughters; Mrs. Chas.
