'During Fire Prevention: Week,
'the Local Chamber ' of • Commerce
Fire Prevention Committee, made
a special study ...of ]fire hazards'
locally, and have made 'a, list of
recommendations.. Art Breck'les is,

During.. Fire Prevention Week,
the Committee was ; " responsible
for`/having •a fire alarm turned
in ' on "Thursday: aftenroon,• and: 'at
the same time the fire alarm was
set off at : the• •Public and High
School.
The entire student. body, ' had
vacated the building in two min-,
utes, and thefire truck was ; at
the . school in 'little'. more than
three, minutes' from the first note
of�;,the siren. The majority. of ,the
Firemen who responded, were
aware that . the alarm was to be
turned in, but, for the„ most' art,'
were' no 'closer: to ,:the Fire Hall
