h which appeared in a• .recent: issue:
the United, Church Observer;
Rev. I. •W. J. Kilpatrick • died
.after a brief illness, on March 19,
1949, in Lonldon Ontario, where
he made his home after ••retire,,
hent' in October,. 1947.,' .
Mr. Kilpatrick .. was .born in
Huron County on July 10th, 1878.
and ''was harried "Isaiah" in- the
fond .hope that he might ;become
• a prophet of the Word. This pray-
er ' "v'as . fulfilled:, when after ' a
deep, religious experience. he ded='
icated his ,life to "the Christian`

n 'He` recurred his: early education`
in the ru'ral'c school sand in •God-
erich ',•Collegiate, - after which he
taught school for a short period.
He .entered the ministryof the
Methodist Church in, 1,908,:.: :Was
silver, medalist of his class in
Victoria 1907,. following up' with
the. B.D. course, and was ..ordain-
'gid in Exeter in 1908. •

rally services Rev. Lunks of Har
riston• brought- the message. The

were warmly received by all 'pre-
sent They rendered ''many • sweet
spiritual messages in, song and
music' on their violins and :electric
guitar:
