grounds as , lazy : white clouds
drifted leisurly throuigfh. the' sky.
The • grounds were cluttered' with
tents, merry-go-rounds, a 'ferri's
wtheel• and livestock,' .the agricul-
• tural hall was, tilled. to capacity.
with many excellentt•,exl ibits.
We ' arrived' at the. grounds be-
tween
e tween twelve .- thirty ani one,
•where Mobs, of people :were mov-
ing in 'every .direction. The fair
was opened by a 'very • talkative
old gentleman who told • how
mulch _progress the.. fair ,had etude
during ;•the':preeed:ing years, and
how; much: • bigger and better •' it
would be next year:.

also some singers and dancers:'
