CHARLES BOBS'
The death, of 'Charles Rob'b,.
wellknown and estoemed Ash'-
field Township fanner, occurred.
in Winghain Hospital on Satur-
day, September .6th. He had been
inthe hospital for .nine days af-
ter suffering' a heavy stroke.. In
June had a heart attack.
• Robb was in his 68th year
and, . his death' is the first break
in a family of nine children born
tothe late John Robb and Eliza-
beth Fowler of the Arnberley dis-
trict. Charles grew to' manhood
•at.Amberley and for almost/forty
years, since 1913, 'had fanned on
Con. 12, Ashfield; just west of
Ashfield . Presbyterian Church.
In 1917 he married Margaret
Cowan , who predeceased him. in.
December of 1945 :
• The Ifuneral se ice was 'held
in. • Asihfield ' Church on Tuesday
of . last . week, . ,conducted by his
pastor, Rev. J. R. MacDonald. In-
