A former well-known resident
of Lucknow, Walter D. Murdobh,
died Lot hospital, at. Viking,. Al-
berta, on. Thursday a1 the age
of 76 years A native of the •Para-
mount 'earninunity, . he was the
second son of ' William and Mar,
garet Murdocnr -his father being
a irnember of the, Murdoch family

of this community where num-
erous sturdily' built, ' hornes are
