farm in Ashfield Township, Hur-
on 'County, near' Lucknow,,'„On-
tario. ' His parents, Alexander
Mackenzie and Dollene Morrison
were of sturdy Scottish stock and
raised a large farnily in .a 'rich,
heritage of religion and, industry.
