pageant . presented .by members
of. the School Band and a thirty-
voice student choir, supported by
George ,Anderson add , Pon Cam-

Costumes, stage settings' and
lighting effects added to the im-
pressiveness of •the 'presentation,
that ,centred around the Nativity.
Band selections, .:including a
Medley of C rkstr`nas carols; pre-
ceded individual and ;group `num
lbers, both vocal ' and instrumen-
tal, with ' the concluding portion
of the (performance _presented in
°pantomime, • word and •rritiSic,'
Jim Reed welcomed the aud-
iehce and. (gave an explanation of
the pageant. Roddy .,Wraith in-
troduced the musical numbers:
Inge Suter played two flute
:numbers. ' Ann and Joan Craw-
ford,:: sang a duet, followed by,.a
selection by .the . trumpet section
of the band.. Eleanor 'Reed play-
ed a. violin number 'with, accom-
paniment by. IVlrs. Gordon' Mont-
gomery. Louise. Andrew' played
an -instrumental selection' and , Bill
Ritchie, Don, . Cameron., George
Anderson and , Jim .Reed a 'trom-
bone and cornet quartette.

herds, ;wisemeh and King, Herod
were •also ,portrayed by a, strong
cast, 'with 'd supporting. musical
