in. a motor accident at Ann Ai!bor.

week •before Ken had attended
the funeral ' of. Mrs.' , J. R. John-

etery to see 'the monument which
he recently had erected. to the
memory of his parents.
Ken was 28 years of'age and
the only , son of the "late .Mr- and
Mrs: Lorne MacLennan, natives
of Ashfield. His mother was the
-foriner 'Margaret MacDonald. -
Ken was. born at Detroit but;
came here as a lad .with :his par-
ents. When.. his Dad opened a
feed shgp here
Ken;was'in his. mid-teens'when
his mother died. He: then return-
ed •to Detroit to take a job and,
eventually did .a 3 -year training
stint with' the. US. paratroopers.'
After his` discharge he learned'
the tool and :die making' trade
arid . had .. a very_ _good job. He'
made his ; home in Detroit •with
his only sister, Mrs Marvin.
