CROSS. CENTENARY
A letter ford. Mrs.. Emily Don-
aldson, who is vacationing in her
homeland, tells c of some recent
thrilling experiences she has had
in London, where she is the guest
of Lt. -Col. D. J. P. -Grant, M.B.E.
and, Mrs. Grant,: at their country
residence• about weight miles from
,London.
On June 25th . Mrs, Donaldson
attended the service in • Westmin-
ster Abbey to mark the • centen-
ary to mark ',;the institution of
the Victoria Cress; 18564956. She
later ° visited the fam;ou's St. Mar-'
garet"s iChuroh and the Field'.of.
Remembrance dedicated .to .those
who were killed in the bombing
•and .Battle of :Britain.
On June 27th ,Mrs. Donaldson.'
attended the oyal Military
School of Music, Summer 'Con-:
cert : Season at Kueller Hall,
