NO CO-OPERATION'
Last* week , we s essed.. the
factthat with , 'so many ° ball
• teams operating in Lucknow this
year, it is impossible .to .compile
a complete coverage . without
some 'help, on the part ` of each
; individual team,. We made a, re-
quest' that some appointed mem-
ibex from each team notify. : us
about the, game immediately.' :af-'
ter it was'played:'° • '
Aside from one instance, • this
request for help has met with
no co-operation whatsoever.
If the local teams a$ not , in,
terested in . having their games
reported,. and theLueknow and
district; league, not • interested in
recordingthe standing from week
to week, then we will . just have
to use 'what scores' are available
" to us 'without hopingto have. a
complete . coverage. The only
other answer *would. be to "•pitch
a tent" in the park and live .there
six days a week.

erton, . on Thursday evening •June
28th, to discuss . the selling of

ector of the , Ontario Hog Pro-
ducers Co-operative was chair-
man of the meeting. Mr. -Charles

sent and ' discussed -the selling of
hogs.: •
In the past, about: 2,000: hogs
a week have been going through
these assembly points' and have
been sold on an F.O.B. basis. This
manner of selling hogs has put
a lot more money in the farriers,
pockets:
One packing .plant . in. !particu
lar has been ' strongly` opposing
this' manner of sellin hogs, s and
g g ,
just ,recently have -offered~ some
truckers the Toronto- price with
no deductions made. '.
In the.' last two weeks the sales
manager, Mr: Kohler has.receiv-
ity to sell the hogs either 'F.O.B.
or on a delivered basis, . which-.
ever.,way.,he could. get• the most •
money: for the farariers..This' was
carried ,practically unanimous..
The :fallowing resolution was ;
endorsed by ;:the meetingand to
be sent to the Ontario' Hog Pro-
ducers Co -Operative: That truck-
ers be warned• if they, do not Co-
operate With the Ontario .Farm
Products Marketing ' Act , that
they will be . prosectited.'. •
