South...Bruce District Annual
rempved the last inexnber of a
pioneer Lochalsh district family,
Re. ,passed away at the Carruth-
•ers' Nursing Home on May 2,7th,.
just a few days• before his 91st
birthday.
Mr, MacRae was. one .of a tam-
' ily of seven Children born .to
Duncan Roy MacRae and : Mar-
garet MacDonald.. of s.ocha1sh. He
• was barn on the farm now owned
by Gordon Ross •of; Huron, Town-
ship.
Vt. MacRae was a lumberman
all his' life. He left 'this vicinity
as a youth ,for .the Michigan
woods and later moved' to Minn-
. esota.. , At the , age, c#f . 26•, he..1ost
