ROBERT JAMES.' BUTTON.
Robert, James Button, promin-
ent in the business and., social
life of this community •for over
two score years;.: passed 'away in
;Wingham Hospital . on Monday,
May 28th. He had :been in : de-
clining health for two years, ,and.
since admitted to;Wingham Hos-
pital early in May With a' fract-:
'tired hip, had 'failed rapidly.
Bob or "`R J." as everyone call
ed •him was in his 73'rd year. He
was: one of a family of "thirteen
—six. boys and •.seven daughters
+born to' James Button and Eliz-
abeth Wilson of Culross..Town�•

ship. Bob was born' on,'Octobe
'Kith, 1883. As' a young mann`
ventured into the butcher • busi-
ness in 'Teeswater in 1907. The
