PASSED AWAY SATURDAY
• The:death of Mr. Arthur Hawk
wood,occurred on Saturday night
at Calgary.' He. had not been . in
the best of health for a time and'•
suffered a strokeabout two
weeks ago, and. a second_ seizure
a -few days before his death.
His soh Tom, who . had been
here since thedeath' of lis'bro-
ther-in=law, •George Alton, flew
back West on Monday morning
for the funeral which was held
on Wednesday.
