Ackert said -he then saw Harold Bannerman,. driver of the car who had . overtaken Desmond, take the ;girl fr..om the Vehicle, • H'rold Bannerman: stated that' he had' to drive his 1952 model car wide :open in order to over take Desmond, and which he was able td do,, at :a pointabout two - `miles east of Biackhors HHe--sak1 he grabbed, the little girl out•of: thecar, and handed her over to his nephew, Douglas Bannerman; who later • took the. girl , to the home of his parents.
