, Mrs. Frederick Burton, a mem-
ber of one ,of Lucknow's ;earliest
families, passed away in a nurs-
ing thyme in Toronto on Friday,
after a long illness. She had
been ib8dfast for well over three
.years:, since suffering '.a fraetur-
eed` hip, followed by •other corn -

Susan Mae Graham, ' a daught-
of ,Robert Graham and •Annie
Bowles„ and one of . a family of.
ten,, three' of -whom nolo survive..
"Her father was one of the Vill-
age's 'pioneer 'business', men and
serived ' • for • years as magistrate
and librarian. . •
