by Harvey MacDougall, the life Of
St, Patrick was read by Margaret
MacCallum.. Charles 'Morrison . then
gave a reading.' and a humorous jour-
nal was read by Annie MacDenald,
The Society was. favored with an ad-
dress by Mr. Wilfred Anderson, in
which he gave a good deal of Ire-
land's history. He. also told ef in-
structive and'humorous events which
took place duriirg his travels in Ire-
land. After his address Stewart Burna
moved a vote of thanks to Mr. Ander-
son, and this was seconded by Mar-
garet MaeCallum. The Society • re-
sponded by 'a hearty els- Mr. Ander"-
Son responded very- fittingly to the
vote of thanks. Mona Mitchell • then
gave an instrumental, • The meeting
