Pare, red blood is the vital principal of life, for upon it the tissues of the body live. It goes praotically to every part of the body, carrying nourishment and oxygen, taking np the wastes and so changing them that they oau be cast out of the body. As our every act re- sults in the breaking down of some of the tissues and the formation of wast° materials, the body is in a constant state of change. To maintain health, strength and life the blood must be pure in order to replace these tissues with plenty of fresh nourishment and rid the body of its waste material. Men and women who are run down will find Dr. Williams' Pink Pills the best these tonic Pills for are.their lt ion certainblood•bu ld er and purifier. They enable the blood to meet the unusual demands of the body and hive perfect health. The meeting which was convened for the purpose of making preliminary arrangement3, decided to hold the con- vention in Toronto in June next, the exaot date to be fixed by the executive, that it will embrace everyone of the one 'hundred and six ridings of Ontario and that only provincial questions will be discussed. Fur -Lined Coats ?• + 1 ♦ +• + power of Dr. Williams disease. Mrs. Harman several years I lived a lif misery, and even now a illness it seems awful o contemplate. The trouble began tth weakness and loss of appetite. • was followed by headaches and em elation. At times I had violent palpitation of the heart and shortness of breath, finally I was completely prostrated. I was so hag- gard that my friends hardly knew me, and I often thought my last hour had oome. My sufferings would follow me into the region of dreams with mob distinotnees that often times I would awaken shivering and shaking with sobs, and scarcely able to realize that I had been but dreaming. The best ef• forts of three doctors at different times failed to help me. Then I was urged to try Dr. Williams' Pink Pills. With- in one month I felt a distinct improve- ment, and after using eleven boxes I was again in the full possession of health and strength. Several years have now elapsed since this illness and as I have constantly enjoyed the best of health I am warranted in Baying that the cure is permanent." Dr. Williams' Pink Pills should be used in all diseases caused by thin, watery or impure blood, such as anaemia, rheumatism, stomach trouble, the after effects of lagrippe and fevers, neuralgia, headaches and the various ailments common to women and grow- ing girls. These Pills are eold by all medicine dealers or sent by mail at 50 cents a box or sx boxs for $2 50 by The Dr. WilliamsiMedicine Co., Brock- ville, Ont. ills over sdye : —"For of pain and I recall that • • + • We're more enthusiastic this seitson than ever before with • our 1 showing of new and stylish Furs. The following report of the meeting of East Huron Conservatives held at Brassele last Friday is taken from the London Free Press: —At a bumper con- ventionof the CJnservatives of East Huron, Dr. Chisholm, M. P. for the riding, definitely annonnoed that, owing to his advanced years, he would not again me a candidate for re-eleotion to the Commons. His announcement was not well received by his followers. For the ensuing year the delegates present named Peter W. Scott as president, 0. G. Vanatone, Wingham, secretary ; William Smith, Walton, treasurer. .Addresses were given by Dr. Chisholm, A. H. Musgrove, M. L. A., Wingham, and ex -Warden James Bowman, of Morris. Resolutions of confidence were then passed on the present Provincial Government and the Opposition at Ottawa. A committee was named to look over the field, and to make a re- port of the conditions at a meeting to be held next June. George Spotton, of Wingham, and ex•Warden Bowman are the two men the convention has its eyes on for parliamentary honors. "THE SOUL'S AWAKENING." The new premium picture given to all subscribers to the Family Herald and Weekly Star, of Montreal, is certainly e beauty. Never in the history of newspapers has there been snots enthnsias • over a premium as "The Soul's A akeuing" has created during the past wo weeks. Almost every newspaper to Canada has published some flattering tributes to The Family Heral 's enterprise. Clergy- men of all denomi at ns have written thanking the Pabli rs for giving the people of Canada an opportunity to pos- sess such a piotnre. Every mail brings scores of letters from parents, fathers and mothers, expressing their sincere gratitude for famishing the home with such an elevating inflnenoe. School In- spectors have written suggesting that every school room in Canada should have a copy of "The Soul's Awakening," believing that it will have a powerful, though silent, influence on the minds of the children. The Family Herald and Weekly Star alone is big value at one dollar, but with this picture as a prem- ium it looks like giving away money. It is said the supply is limited and there is a big rush of subscriptions. No one ldmiss it Children's Winter Apparel. In Toques, Gloves, Bootees, Gaiters and Mittens.
