I asked Kelly if she had seen some live bees and her reply was, "No, but we saw some dead bees though." Tyler thought it was very interesting and Derek liked when they went out by the bee hives. They 211 thought it was very interesting. They were shown a film on what bees do all year-round. Mrs. Swan thought that Mrs. Ferguson was a nice hostess. She must have enjoyed the trip as much as the pupils did. Note: This is to remind all the pupils that you can stay in bed and let your "moms" and "dads" rest because there is a P.D. Day on Friday, October 30. A report on the receipt of the New Horizons Grant was given, and all the requirements which are set up by this grant were reviewed and discussed. The obligations were accepted and now each person will be expected to put in a given amount of time and talent to make the workshop an interesting and worthwhile place. A motion was made to order the kiln and potters wheels from Stratford Clay Co. Mr. Harold Seaman is looking after the wiring contract with Tony Hutchings. Mr. Frank Burch is our treasurer. Mrs. Myrtle Robinson agreed to be our secre- tary. Mr. Geo. Chapman has offered to head up the group doing the remodelling necessary, while on Wednesday our first clean-up party will meet in the Town Hall Kitchen to prepare the area for painting the floor.
