EDITOR:
I have been following the progress of your
paper with interest and was looking for
news of last week's Council Meeting
(Bayfield) Nov. 16/81.
Also, referring to Issue A-5 October 22,
I have been looking for an answer regard-
ing the Bayfield Cemetery Board meetings.
Why has there been no news on this?
Has there been any response on the part
of the merchants and residents of Bayfield
and Zurich re the "Community Christmas
Card"?
Ernest Reade - Bayfield
EDITOR'S NOTE:
I missed the Council Meeting because of
a plugged drain.
On Thursday I did ask for a copy of the
minutes of the meeting from the Clerk -
Treasurer. He said I could not have a
copy but that I might look at his copy.
He acknowledged his copy was not pre-
pared yet.
Mr. Wilson, Bayfield Council representa-
tive, was to have handed in a short report
on the Cemetery Board Meeting. So far no
report has arrived.
Next issue we will explore the idea of
a Community Christmas Card again. Per-
haps we will have a better response now
that Christmas is near.
