"WE APPRECIATE YOUR PATRONAGE"
The Bayfield Agricultural Society
The Bayfield Agricultural Society held its
Annual Meeting on November 19th in the
Municipal Building, Bayfield.
Forty members enjoyed a Pot Luck Supper
after which the meeting was held. Reports
given by the Treasurer showed that the Society
had once again ended the year with a small
credit balance. This is due in part to inter-
ested and concerned persons who made generous
donations, along with the Grants received.
The Receipts for the Fair were up slightly for
1981, but overall costs kept the bank balance
low.
Various plans were discussed for the 1982 Fair
which will be held on Friday and Saturday,
August 27th and 28th, 1982. The need for
proper fencing of the Fair grounds was stres-
sed as a means of giving better gate control.
It is well known that a large section of
Fair go-ers enter the grounds without paying
admission.
