The Service began at 11 a.m, with the pupils filing into the gym at about 10:55 a.m. We started the service with a few Guides and Cubs who carried flags into the gym and read poems to those attending the service. We sang '0 Canada', then the Lord's Prayer. The next two hymns we sang were 'Let There Be Peace on Earth' and 'Faith our Fathers'. The laying of the wreaths was performed by a Guide, Janis Moffat and a Scout, Robert Francis. The flags were carried into the gym by Corrie Sinnamon and Brent Erb. The service ended with a moment of silence in remembrance of our fallen heros of the Wars who gave their lives so we might live in peace. Our grade 8's then filed out the back exit of the gym at about 11:25 a.m. Village Floral !7liC e5 /ou.
