The late Thos. MoFadzean, whose
death was recorded in our last issue was
a native of irk .. iohaeI, County of
Ayr, Scotland, Bo n near the "Banks
and braes o' bonnie +loon" he was ever
an ardent Admirer o the Scottish bard.
In the year 1851, be. with hie parents

emigrated to Caned and after a tedious
ocean voyage landed in Hamilton on the
tenth of June, whet; they remained only

finally removed to the Township of
Grey, County of Hu on. 68 years ago
