The country roads, bad all winter,
have been worse than ever the past
week, owing to the thaw. As a result
the rural mail service has: been very
poor.
Mr. Alex Ross has sold his resi-
dence to Mr.. W. E. MacDonald,..of W.
Wawanosh. Mr. MacDonald has sold
his farm and will come to the village
to live.
Mr. Emerson Irwin is home, from
Kynoch, New Ont., and will spend a
week here before going to London
where he and a partner will open a
garage and auto repair shop.
Mr. Frank Bossenbgrg, piano tun-
er, of Kitchener, is coming -to Luck -
now for a few days at end of this
week. Parties having a piano to tune

CALLED•AWAY IN ,BOYHOOD
Very'saddening' was the death of
Stewart Russell Huston, youngest
son of Mr. and Mrs. David Huston, of
town, who died on Tuesday morning
of this week." The young lad had been
ill -for over a week with appendicitis,
• and at times appeared to be improv-
ing. On Monday it was thought well
to resort to a surgical operation, and
this . was performed by Dr. Hamley,
of Wingham. The disease, however,
was too • far advanced and the little
sufferer passed away about five
o'clock on Tuesday morning. He was
lacking just two weeksofbeing eleven
years of age. The funeral will be this
(Thursday)- afternoon, . to Greenhill
Cemetery. Mr. and Mrs. Huston and'
the bereaved brothers 0 and sisters
have the,sympathy of many friends.

funeral of Dr. L. C. Sinclair, wh? died
very suddenly in Kincardine Hospital
following an operation for an abscess.

ness, in his 5lst ytr, was held from
the home of his brother; 0. A. Siii-
clair, this afternoon to the town cem-
etery for interment and was very
largely 'attended. He was a son of the
late Dr.' le C. Sinclair and spent his
boyhood days here attainiirg his early
education in the local public and high
schools. Ile left Tillsonburg about
twenty. years ago, and has Since re-
sided in the Owen Sound district. The
Rev. C. H. Bole, assisted by Rev. T.
