last week to Miss Elsa Evans. Old

—Miss McKenzie of Kincardine, wan
a passenger on the steamer Republio
which was injured in a collision an
sank in the ocean, near New York or
Saturday last. Six passengers were
killed and all the others on the ill•fatei
steamer were transferred to another
boat.
—Alex. McKenzie, a weaver, who
lived in Kincardine for nearly fifty
years, died last week at Walkerton, at
the age of 84 years.

—Mr. W. H. Kerr, editor • of the
Brussels Post and hie slster•in-law, Miss
Kay, were injured by the explosion of
a range in the editor's home recently,
Luokily neither was seriously injured,
but they reoeived nasty wounds and the
Times wishes for a speedy recovery.
