The past week was giving us a taste of what might be coming. The theme for the Sunday service at Cavan was "Joy." The Christ can- dle was lit by Danielle and Brenda Bernard. They also read the Advent reading. Several carols were sung and a brief history was given for each one. 0 Little Town of Bethle- hem, for example, was written in 1865 about the author's experiences during a visit to Bethlehem. It was first sung in 1867. Danielle Bernard and Carly Goos helped set up the Christmas Story scene with the Shepherd and Wise Men. Greeters and collectors for the service were Carol and Francis Hunt. A social time followed the service. Sandra Morey had a fall recently and as I write this she is in a London Hospital, but should be returning to Seaforth soon. She broke her leg in 2 places. To all my readers, thank you and have a Blessed Christmas. Food for Thought A good disposition is the sunshine of the soul. P0STIVIA.
