Hensall District Co-operative Inc. is a progressive co-operative
and is celebrating its 75th year in business and growing. We
are seeking a dynamic individual to become an integral part of
our Team at our Londsboro location.
Position Summary:
The "Mill Worker" role will report to the Location Manager
and must be able to work with minimal supervision. The
successful individual must be conscientious and work in a safe
manner.
The Mill Worker position is responsible for the manufacturing
of top quality feed and the loading of trucks on a timely
basis. Must be available to work to meet the demands of
the customer, this may require shift work depending on the
requirements. This position interacts with customers handling
grains and incoming products. Must perform minor repairs,
help the Mill Manager in HACCP and Safety programs and
maintain housekeeping.
The following is required, troubleshooting skills, attention
to detail and superior record keeping, organized and calm
under pressure, excellent customer service skills, sound
understanding of feed delivery and manufacturing, inventory
management, two years' experience in agriculture and a grade
12 education would be beneficial.
Position Criteria:
The successful individual will have the ability to organize and
prioritize their work load in a safe and efficient manner in a fast
paced environment. Knowledge of computer software including
Microsoft office and Thede Ward System is considered a plus.
You must be coordinated and have the ability to trouble shoot
and make small repairs. Experience dealing with the public
and providing superior customer service is required.
Education: Grade 12, a degree in Agri -business or similar
practical experience preferred.
Experience: two years' experience in an Agricultural
environment

MURRAY, Vincent - It is with sadness,
we announce the passing of our loving
father, at the Seaforth Manor Nursing Home
on Friday, November 22, 2013, in his 94th
year. Born in Huron County, son of the
late Thomas Murray and Elizabeth
Flannagan. Beloved husband of the late
Dorothy Nolan, the late Kristine and the
late Hazel. Loving father of Rosemary
Balfour (Dennis), Jim Murray (Janneke),
Steve Murray and son-in-law Gord Butters.
Cherished grandpa of ten and great
grandpa of nineteen. Also survived by his
brother Tom (Maddie), sister-in-law Grace,
the Nolan family as well as many nieces
and nephews. Predeceased by his
daughter Loretta Butters, one sister and
four brothers. Visitation was held at
McGLYNN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME,
Seaforth, 519-527-1390, on Monday,
November 25th from 6-9 p.m. (with Parish
Prayers at 5:45 p.m.) Vincent's Funeral
Mass was held at St. James Roman
Catholic Church, Seaforth, on Tuesday,
November 26, 2013 at 11 a.m. Fr. Chris
Gillespie officiated and the Pallbearers
were Steve Balfour, Craig Murray, Dean
Murray, Charlie Downey, Jim Maloney and
Ben McQuaid. Interment took place at St.
Columban Roman Catholic Cemetery and a
luncheon followed at the Seaforth Legion,
Branch 156. Memorial donations to the
Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke
Foundation are appreciated and can still be
made through the funeral home or by
visiting Vincent's memorial at
