Students from Mrs.
Greene and Mrs. Bedour's
Grade 7/8 classes, from St.
Mary's Catholic School in
Goderich, got a chance to try
out the newly located Edge
of Walton Challenge Course
on Sept. 17.
It was opening day for the
course, formerly named
Above the Falls until it was
moved from the Benmiller
Falls Reserve to Walton
Raceway.
Edge of Walton is an out-
door experiential education
facility, primarily aimed at
youth.
I've been doing this work
for five years and love mak-
ing a positive impact on
young lives," said course
manager Rob Bundy. "We're
a not for profit corporation
and very excited to have
found a home at Walton:'
More than just a kid's
game, Edge of Walton incor-
porates challenges designed
to discover and develop
leadership, teamwork and
communication skills for any
age.
Some of the course's chal-
lenges include climbing, bal-
ancing, and tight rope walk-
ing, which hope to provide
an exciting way to develop
effective teamwork, build
relationships and sharpen
problem -solving skills.
